Type R 15

i have a 15 inch type R in a 4 cube ported box tuned to 34 hz. right now im giving it 600wrms at 2 ohms on the amp from my previous setup. now i need to give the r the power it needs and eventually will be adding a second r in the same box. suggestions on a amp that will supply enough watts to one that i have now and a second when i get it. so a two channel would work and how many watts are you guys giving your R's in simmilar boxes ?

Get a 2000+ capable mono subwoofer amplifier.

I'm assuming you have a dual 4 ohm type-r now seeing as you said its at 2 ohms, so you'll be looking for a 1 ohm stable amplifier. Lots of options come to mind.

And when you said you'll be adding a 2nd type-r "to the same box" I'm hoping you meant a 2nd box of the same size right?

2 15's in a 4 cube box=bad.

Alright, then you are looking for a 1 ohm stable subwoofer amplifier capable of ~2000 watts or more.

Whats your budget for an amp?
