This is not an ongoing deal, a customer wanted a single 15 instead of the dual 12 setup - so I built him a box/gave him one of my test 15's and he gave these subs and boxes back.

I don't have any personal use for them, so they must go!

They are *loud* boxes, while sounding good at the same time! The type R's in this box will handle up to 1200 watts... yep... 1200 watts each! The design increases power handling *and* effeciancy.

The same boxes that can be seen in this video - http://www.thecaraudiobox.com/eventpicsandvids/TCAB10hzlower3dblouder.wmv

The boxes can be carpeted for an extra $25 if purchased individually, or $40 if both are purchased together. High quality carpet is used, not the cheap flea market stuff!

(the box looks crooked in this picture.. it is, in fact, square)

Asking price is $275 shipped for 1 box and 1 sub mounted and ready to go. If you buy both boxes/subs at the same time, $499. These ARE the so called "magic type R" boxes that started all the hype! Find out what a type R can *really* do!

Will split things up (for example, if you just want one box... or both boxes, or just both subs).

Throw power at the subs in this box and your jaw will drop!

The woofers, btw, are dual 2 ohm.

Shipping for that big boy is the same wether im one state away or in say california? and why not mdf?
yea, just to make life easier... same shipping anywhere.

I'm in chicago so its not a drastic difference.

P-board is stiffer and lighter. Its more brittle and more porous... porous is taken care of (wood sealed) and brittle, you'll *never* get remotely close to the breaking point. It also has an unever surface which is again, taken care of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Lol ok......when you can hit any were close to a 150 with a single 12'' woofer...in a trunk...with a box you designed and built then maybe you would understand. These box's are just any ordinary box. From what i hear some serious thought and labor go into them...i could be wrong

just my 2 cents

serious thought and labor is right!

The boxes are more than just a few panels slapped together, alot of different materials are used to help performance.

Your not buying a "box" your buying PERFORMANCE... or would spending more on woofs than both of the boxes/woofs cost to obtain less performance fit some of your fancies? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

btw I did a 151.9 with one type R 12 and an autotek mm4000 in the trunk of my monte carlo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It played music great... but it definitely was an SPL box... and didnt have alot of low end.

These boxes on the other hand... play music extremely well, and are capable of great numbers too! The taurus the numbers were put up with in the vids is 2db down from what my monte carlo is, just doing a direct swap... with a box that works great in the taurus (lol...).

One of the boxes/type R for sale here in an hatch or smaller trunk car with ~800+ watts *will* break a 145... quite a feat for one 12, let alone while playing great music!

the warranty is at a shop in Chicago, Soundmaster.
Warranty for somewhere in the order of 8 months.
meh, I could always use the warranty for my 12 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif... if this is the 1222d.

Is it? Also I am not seeing how its hard to do price+shipping. I mean you wont knock off some $ for shipping it to a neighboring state vs say cali or fl ny etc? Just wondering

33.5" 12.5" 17"
It can be oriented in any fashion, mostly depends on vehicle.

I'd also like to add that the interior of this box was sprinkled with magic SQL juice, thats why it works so well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Im guessin Length=33.5" ???

Height=12.5"

Width=17"

Should be fairly obvious from looking at the box picture what aligns with what.

I've learned everyone has a different definition of height, length, width, and depth... so I'll just leave that to your imagination I suppose //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
