Well I figured since everyone else is having a meet we might as well schedule one for our area.

Ok now I know that there is an Arkansas Meet scheduled for DEC. 2, But I plan on this one happening sometime in either Nov. or Late Dec. Possible locations could be Tyler-Shreveport-Texarkana(IMHO the best)-Hope-Dallas. Would be nice to get a TL there (I know Jntar and DJman have one and I know they would let us get metered for a small fee) and if we can get enough people I would be willing to have a legit comp with trophies. With just a simple class structure

Stock (per USACi Regulations) 0-1000

Mini SPL (newest fad aparently at CA.com)

To do trophies I will need aprox. 10-20 people to show up. Trophies arent that expensive but when you get to buying 8 or so 20 dollar trophies it gets expensive. Entry fee would be nominal probably 10-15 dollars for 2 runs (sweep if you dont know your Peak Freq. and then a burp). Im not looking to make any profit here, I just want the costs of the trophies to get paid and then whatever fee the TL owner would like.

LOCATION

NOW...location. Basically the way I see it happening is a poll and the highest vote wins.. If you have any suggestions as far as another location im open for all suggestions. To me logical places would be Texarkana just because of its cnetral location between all of the states, Shreveport would be nice(not because I live there...remember I live in Baton Rouge now) because of the added feature of the Casinos for our members that are 21 years of age.

DATE

Date is really up in the air right now. I know that Nov. is going to be packed because of Thanksgiving and USACi and MECA finals. Dates can be suggeted as well.

Post if you would like this to happen....vote in the Location Poll....and Post a possible date you can attend. Time frame can be anywhere from-LATE NOV-JAN

Dallas sounds good, or shreveport. both bigger cities with attractions and plenty of hotles and places to have a comp.
