Two ports versus one port

I tried to search, but I guess either I **** at it or it's not there.

What are the pros and cons versus two ports versus one?

I've heard of one driver worker harder than another in a single-ported system...

But you don't see double-ported that often. Just wondering before I build this box.

Well...

Can someone at least double check my work?

The outside dimensions are 18.25" D x 27" W X 16" H

Inside dimensions are 16.75" D x 25.5" W X 14.75" H ~3.5-3.6 Ft^3

I want it tuned to 40hz, WinISD says this set-up would be 39.86.

The real question is actually if WinISD includes the end correction of 1/2 of the port?

All of the numbers plugged into WinISD shows that it's 24.5" Port Length for 2 ports @ 2" Wide.

If you're going with that box design why not make it .75 wider and add a wall to make two chambers. it adds support and if one woofer blows then the other won't have a higher chance of blowing

Lmao, good point. I guess I've always done double/triple chamber boxes and wanted a shared box.
