Two ports for one? I need help.

I am in the process of making a slotted port enclosure for my JL Audio 18" the box has an over all volume of 5.02 cu ft. I want to tune it around 34 hz. which calls for a port size of 2.5 inch. wide and 14inch tall. This box is for everyday pounding, but I will take it to shows as well.

I don't like the look of having just one port on one size, it looks lop-sided and uneven. Is there anyway I can substitute 2 slot ports one on each side ( of lesser size) for the one? If any body has a program for figuring this out, or is knowledgeable can you please help me. Thanks
