Sorry for the problems... I spent $120 or so on shipping those beasts... and it hurts to see them in that condition.

It took me about a month to wring money out of UPS when they left an amp at the front door of an apartment... who thinks it was still there when the customer got home? It probably didn't last 10 minutes out there with "Car Amplifier" printed on the side.

and Jacob, I really hate those boxes they ship those amps in.....I usually put an extra label over the side of the box to cover that logo so nobody at UPS gets any bright ideas.

Read up a couple posts...they come from Korea with the words "Car Amplifier" on the box, presumably to make Customs feel better...or who knows...

I'm not going to read the whole thread, but the reason let someone else pack it is so there will be NO fault on yourself should the need for insurance arise which in this case it did and now you're almost 100% guaranteed your money back.

sorry ng but crates are completely worthless ways of shipping items... havent you seen all the horror threads about crates. The only way to ship in crate is how scott ships them, and im not a big fan of that way of packing either, but it seems to be effective.... 4 inches of foam is much more affective than 1/4 inch of ply wood //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Well yeah, I'm talking about the original crates they are shipped in. I always keep mine.

Hell, RE MT15 and a BTL15... both were shipped to me and then survived ANOTHER shipment all the way back to the west coast when I sold them...

yes those are ok, but if you dont have the original packaging its much easier to just build foam shellls for them
