Two Batteries?

How would i go about adding an extra battery to my system. Do I connect it to the atlernator or to the other battery?

You have to put an isolator between the 2 batteries.

Battery > Isolator > Battery

what is an isolator? ive had my two batteries wired in parallel for a while now without one and no problems have happened yet..

i've heard from an un reliable sources that if u dont have an upgraded alt , u cant use two batt. --> and thats true right ??

The 2 large posts are + in and + out, the other 2 are - and a remote turn-on...

I have a 2nd battery isolated in the trunk and havent had a problem since my HO crapped out on me a ways back.....

There are also other brands.

But remember, isolators dont last forever, they get more resistant over time
