Have you looked into old school Soundstream Rubicon or Reference series amps? They tend to be small and pack a large punch.
hello! my choice is the alpine!
leagues your sub's in parallel, being to 2 ohm in the amplifier.
you are with 350 wrms, that is what the sub's needs.
the amp's healthy alpine very good!
he is well!
In my experience the Alpine V-power series amps aren't particularly underated at all. I Can't speak on the V12 series amps as I've never owned one. It should hit right close to the target of what the specsheet says it'll do.1. Is the mrd-m350 underrated enough to justify going the alpine route when it comes to powering my subs?
I do not believe it would make a truly audible difference, myself.2.does 35 watts per sub even make much of a difference?
I personally have no experience with any of DEI's products so I cannot comment on this one.3. does directed even perform the right amount as advertised in the first place, or does it usually go over the rms?
Again - with no personal experience I really cannot comment for certain. But ~ I will qualify that with the addition that refurbished units from ikesound (various Orions, Vipers, etc) are continually and highly recommended by several members on this forum so if i were forced to make a guess I'd say it's a pretty safe gamble.4. How trustworthy are refubished amps from ikesound anyway?
I would have no clue whatsoever on this one5. To anyone who has seen or actually owned a directed 600d, are its dimensions 10 11/16 L x 8 3 /4 W x 2 H exact? Is it really about 8.5 inches wide or is it 10.5 inches wide?
If they will both fit into your intended mounting location and you're absolutely convinced that it has to be one of those two I'd just go with whatever is cheaper. I don't think the minimal amount of output difference would amount to a hill of beans in your listening space so go with whatever's cheaper to acquire. And finally, which amp in consideration of those questions would be the best choice and why?
