You could probably do better with a pair of 15s in the right airspace. 18s were tight but I think they were being smothered.

Ya i just wanted to do it to say i did it...and it did sound pretty bad *** at the same time...but i think im gonna try to shoot for 147ish on TL i was lookin around 2500-3500 rms range

4 12s would be another option. I think you would have a better chance doing 147+ with that since there is more cone area than 2 15s. I mean, 15s would most likely beat out the 2 18s but I think only by a db or two on that power.

yup...in the trunk...debating right now on 3 fi ssd 15s on GP3000 or 4 sdc2.5 on aq2200d

Those 15s are going to be in way too small of an enclosure. I just don't see 4 15s in ~10 cu ft working out too well. I barely have enough airspace for my 2 SDC2.5 15s, let alone 4! Why not go with some subwoofers you can put in the correct size enclosure? I bet you will get better results that way.
