Two 18s, 300 amp alt, 2 batts, big 3, REBUILD!

I'm rebuilding my 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. Ive had the 18s installed previously but blew the Kicker 2500.1 that was on em so this is round 2.

 

Equipment going in...

300 Amp Excessive Amperage Alternator

Big 3 in Shok Industries 1/0

35 ft of Shok Industries ran throughout

Optima Red Top under the hood

C&D 134AH in trunk

2 18" Fi BLs

NEW Kicker 2500.1

75ft2 sound deadening

 

I recently wrapped the 10.5ft3 enclosure in tan carpet and sprayed the port white to match the car. I wired the new Kicker 2500.1 up and got the Optima in under the hood. 75ft2 of sound deadening to the trunk floor/wall/lid. The big 3 and Shok 1/0 gauge will be ran as soon as i get to it as well as the install on the alternator and battery/battery rack.

 

Heres what I have so far...

 

The trunk getting started on with sound deadening...its a big trunk and wasnt much fun

wired up and snug in the trunk after finished sound deadening. Im planning on changing the location of the amp from behind the box to the very front so its visible. Ill change it when i get the battery rack finished up.

ya im actually gettin some work done now!

The air freshner was because i was laying the primer and painting the port....IN MY KITCHEN and that was my long shot at trying to smell something besides fumes. Basically i just inhaled great smelling fumes.

RV roofing repair mat. I love it...this is the 2nd vehicle ive had that i used it in. it hushed up some the smaller rattles and noticed a lot less road noise comin from the trunk as well... did the whole trunk for i think $30-45 range.

i got the rv roof repair at home depot. took 3 rolls to do my trunk ~75ft2 and roughly 35$ if i remember correctly

and im workin on some videos ppl hopefuly have the big 3 done today and alternator today or tomorow...hopefully
