Two 12W6's How Many Power Needed?

Hey,

Well i'm gonna be installing two 12w6's, how much power do i need, i was thinking about a 1500 watt amp or would that be over kill?

i just think a 1000rms amp will have no room for adjustment with these subs..

If you are running sealed, you will want at LEAST 800 watts rms. I would recommend 1000-1200 watts rms. Alpine PDX 1000.1, JL 1000/1, or Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1 would be great matches for those two subs. If you run them ported, you could get away with 700 at minimum.
