two 12's on two mbquart 1500's

im looking for 2 12's that will be able to take 1500 rms each all suggestions are open, i was thinking of 2 sundown sa 12's i hear they can take some power my budget is hopefully no more then 250 per sub and i drive a 96 mercury cougar xr7

too bad your budget isnt a little bit higher im selling my diamond audio subs for 500 plus shipping. can each take 1500 daily no problems neo motors. sq subs that get down aka sql subs. hit me up if you might be intested if you want pics or more info. 616-499-9898

thats a bit much power for SA12s daily, you could do it, but youd have to be easy on the gains and be careful. theyre only rated for 600rms each. Id consider a set of AudioQue hdc3 12s, or find something beefy on here used

1k-1.2k is all id give one, ive ran SAs before, theyre great subs. what you might do is run the SAs on the 1500s, set the gains low so theyre getting about 1k each, then you have some extra power on tap if you wanna burp them or upgrade subs later
