tweeter placement

right now i have my comps in stock locations, tweeters in the A pillars toward passenger/driver, 6.5 in the door around ankle/shin level and not aimed anywhere really. they sound really good, but i havent messed around with speaker placement. i am going to build kickpanels for my speakers to free up the doors for dedicated midbass drivers (and some necessary fiberglass work). will my sound stage drop down at all from having my speakers much lower, and should i put the tweeters in the kick panel too or leave them up top for a higher soundstage?

I am doing the same, making kick panels for my 5.25 midrange driver and going to drop a 6.5 strong mid bass driver in the door. Everyone has told me that the tweeter/midrange combo in the kick panel will give better imaging. So I am going to try that.
