Tweeter crossover point?

I am running my Orion tweets straight from the amp and am using the HPF. I need to know what to set the crossover point at? The selector goes from 80-2.5Hz. I have them set at about 1.9-2.0 right now. Want to make sure I will not damage them. Thanks

I think 2k hz is even a little low... horns are the only high drivers I'd have hooked up that low.

I'd get with Orion and get some little passive x-over in there, rather than use the amps most likely shallow (probably 12db/octave) x-over, which is probably way too low.

Some tweets, such as some Morels, will go that low confidently //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Orions..ehh....I'd follow Squeak's advice...

On a steep slope (24db/oct), I can think of quite a few that wouldn't have a problem handling 1.5khz or so
