Tweeter crossover point?

I am running my Orion tweets straight from the amp and am using the HPF. I need to know what to set the crossover point at? The selector goes from 80-2.5Hz. I have them set at about 1.9-2.0 right now. Want to make sure I will not damage them. Thanks

Contact Orion and find out what xover point and slope on the passive xover was set at.

That will give you a good starting point.

I think 2k hz is even a little low... horns are the only high drivers I'd have hooked up that low.

I'd get with Orion and get some little passive x-over in there, rather than use the amps most likely shallow (probably 12db/octave) x-over, which is probably way too low.

Depends on how much power you are feeding them, what does the amp put out, and what tweets are they, without more info no one will be able to recommend anything accurately.

On a steep slope (24db/oct), I can think of quite a few that wouldn't have a problem handling 1.5khz or so

It is a Tsunami amp. I am pushing 40 RMS to each tweeter.
