found a plasma tv sitting next to a dumpster on my route today. no visible signs of it being broken so i loaded it up. got it home and the picture is pretty good, except there is some blue that is in the screen right in the center. it spells out windows, like the image got burned into the screen. it only shows up when the picture is a light colored background. internal audio doesn't work either, but i don't care, it works with surround sound. anyway to get that image out of the screen? or is it just trash?

You can run it and over time it might fade away.

Watch shows with a lot of different colors or get a color test disk and you might be able to vanish the burn in...

If it isn't bad, I would just consider it a free TV...

point taken on the free tv. i didn't expect it to work at all. anyone ever use the program "jscreenfix"? you hook the tv up to the computer and run this program, which is supposed to fix "image burn".
