my frontstage componants are WAY to vibrant, they have TOO much highs. what do i do to get a "warmer" sound from them like some mid-driver speakers. mid-driver speakers give out vocals, but are in no way high pitched. thats how i want my frontstage 6.5's to sound, but with more highs. how can i balance the two? ive been tuning my EQ for 4 days now and i cant get it to sound right. the highs are to HIGH

get some mid range speakers and a small two channel amp independly and use that as vocals i guess
my comps are midranges, they are not midbass. and they are being run off of a 2ch amp. and what do you mean use it as vocals? hookup the midrange to the amp, and run the tweets off of the HU?

Have you sealed and deadened the doors ? Sealing and deadening your doors ( the enclosure for the drivers ) will help increase the low end response dramatically //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yea, im about to go buy some deadener in a few minutes

Where and how are your mids mounted ?
I think a better question is, where are the tweeters mounted? If they are up high, like in the sail panels, or in the dash, that would explain it. I never could get my tweeters sounding good up high, I had to mount them next to the mids down in the door.
