Marantz Pre-amp

Too old for this ****.
I found my father's old pre-amps from one of his older home sound systems.

It's a Marantz Model 3200 preamp.

I know that some marantz items carry a collectors value...Is this one worth anything?

It is in average shape, but still powers up...and for what I know it still works.

An excellent condition 3200 w/ manual went for 260.00 on ebay recently. one with a broken fader went for 70.00. There was a couple other ones so if you search the completed items you might be able to get what you want for yours.

lol, I have some decent speakers, it's my receiver that sucks, lol.

My room set up is :

A Sherwood receiver (something like 240 watts), with a Pioneer digital tuner. I have the Marantz connected as my pre-amp. The speakers are 2 generic rears (the sherwoods which came with the reciever), a dual bookshelf for my center, and two Cerwin Vega RE25's as my front channels. The sub stage is a Sherwood 8" powered sub. It does pretty well.

Our TV surround sound system:

AIWA reciever (about 500 watts total), with an AKAI Graphic EQ. The front right, lefts are Sonab OA-14's, and the center, rearleft and rearright are BOSE. The subwoofer is a BOSE Acoustimass.
