I have:
Pioneer head unit with 2 sets of RCA outputs
Infinity Kappa 53.5i (5 1/4) up front
Infinity Kappa 6x9 in rear
MTX Thunder 4320 (40W x4 at 4ohms) for those 4 speakers
Infinity Kappa Perfect 12s in rear
JBL GTO Series amp (I think its 580 W RMS)
I have one set of RCAs going to the sub amp, and one set with Y splitters on each end going to the 4channel amp. So I think the REAR is just the subs and the FRONT is all 4 speakers. Its confusing to me. There is subwoofer control on the HU but I don't know how/if I can/should use it.
I need help tuning it to make it sound the best. On the 4channel amp, each side (1for each set of speakers) has 3 knobs: Gain, EQ, Frequency. Each side also has HP and LP buttons.
The JBL amp has 3 knobs: Bass Boost (0-12 dB), Xover Freq (32Hz-320Hz), and Input Level (6V-250mV).
I thought I knew how to tune it right but I think this can sound a lot better. Could someone tell me about what everything should be at, along with the EQ on the HU? Thanks.
