I seen 00RedRT's thread and decided to do my own.

I'm not sure how the Sirius wires into the radio, but I will figure it out once I get it.

I'm not sure what should be series, parallel, or bridged. I have very minimal experience with car audio, but I plan to learn alot workin on this setup.

If you see any mistakes or have any advice let me know.

I got my RCAs in the mail today.

I got some advice from someone to go with a one amp setup instead of two amps and I am probly gonna go that route.

there is a kx800.4 on diymobileaudio.com. use the front two channels for the comps and just set the gains very low. bridge the rear channels for the sub.

it was going for 130 which is a STEAL even without the trim pieces or end caps, and with a few scratches.

thats what i would do.

at any rate, looking like a great starter system!

what eugenics said....a nice beefy 4 channel will be perfect.

will give you more options in the future as well. if you decide to go active someday you can use that amp for the front stage, and then get a monoblock for the subs.

basically, instead of using passive crossovers (like the ones bundled with your component set) you use either the headunits internal processing, an external processor/eq, or the amps crossover, etc. to set the crossover points and in some cases EQ slopes. gives you a lot more control and if properly done, much better results.

your system looks great for something to start and learn with.
