Tuning help!! N00B Question..

is it for an 8 or a 10.. seems like a small amount of volume.. if you're looking for a box, i can build a box to your spec/your subwoofers specs... but that box is probably good for sql.. rock/metal.

the low end will suffer a little bit at 37hz tuning, not too bad though.

the output of the speaker as far as SQ, SQL, SPL goes is not only determined by the port tuning but enclosure volume as well.

example:

a too small of a box for that particular sub, tuned to 33hz may give you a peak of 5db at 55hz, a too big of a box may give you a 10db at 35hz. so finding the right tuning freq is a little different for all speakers.

if you use something like winisd. you can input your subs parameter and see a close representation of what that enclosure size tuned to that freq will output on your sub or subs.
