ok so i need some help understanding the exact meaning of tuning ur box...1.what is meant by, what is ur boxed tuned to? 2. how do u tune ur box? 3. how do i find out what my box was tuned to if i bought it from an audio shop when i had no clue ur supposed to tune a box?

thanks for all ur help and advice

1.what is meant by, what is ur boxed tuned to?
It is in reference to ported boxes, and the tuning frequency of the box. In a ported box, you "tune" the box (by way of the port) to a certain frequency. This tuning frequency, along with the box size, determine the response characteristics of the "system" (sub and box)

2. how do u tune ur box?
The cross-sectional area of the port and port length in relation to box size determine the tuning frequency.

3. how do i find out what my box was tuned to if i bought it from an audio shop when i had no clue ur supposed to tune a box?
Well, first you need to measure the net internal volume of your enclosure (that's the internal dimensions of the box, less port and sub displacement). Then you need to measure the port length and cross-sectional area of the port. Then, you use this formula to solve for tuning frequency;
