I have the batts wired to 12V since this is just a daily setup.

What was the problem with amp?

Subsonic Filter. For some reason the 4Kw's don't want to work with the filter turned off. It seemed to work fine in testing when I turned it on.

I bought these subs they way they sit. They are fresh recones in them now, so I couldn't tell ya. All I know is that these beasts are STIFF!

I did a bit more wiring today. I finished the "Big 3". I have to say, the alternator is a royal pain in the azz to get at! I had to remove the skid plate and do everything from underneath the truck. All wire is 2/0 awg.

Alternator positive to battery positive.

Here is the chassis ground. I decided to go directly to the frame. The yellow 2/0 awg wire you see is from the engine block to the frame. The 2/0 awg blue wire is from the frame to the battery. Yes the blue wire connector has been taped up with black electical tape.

I also have a ground going from the battery to the chassis in the stock electrical ground location. There really is no need for this, but I did it anyways. You can never have enough ground!
