6500d and Memphis 4k have the same guts on a different board layout.

Not exactly the same, but they do have a lot of the same amount of components (capacitors, torrids, etc.).

Its like a Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable. Same parts make the same car (amp in this case) Altho not 100% the same, as close as its going to get.

just my opinion here. There MUST be something different in the amps cause I have tested both amps. And in our testing on 12v and 16v setups the SS NEVER put out as much power as the memphis 4kd.

performance must have a hand int he resell price
