Trying to pick an inexpensive sub...

I may need to make a seperate thread in the box section, but how much space do I need to have between sub and back of the box. never been much of an issue before so I'm not sure. What happens if its to close?

Give the pyramid pro x series a shot. I know its pyramid yea, but theyre around 50$ a piece for the 15" and are way better than the hifi 12"s.

I have some and have abused the pure shit out of them, and they still look/sound new. Alot of people sleep on pyramid but i think its not bad at all for the money. 2 of those on 1500w was def louder than 2 AP15s i tried on the same power. Dont take much to get loud, give them a shot.

I'd try to find some original AA Assassins that use the TC2+ motor. Great subs that sound fantastic IMO, and can be had fairly cheap...if you can find them.

your box is actually perfect for them they dont need space at the back for cooling it is in the cap on the magnet to the sides they are 5.6" depth. and they will pound in 2.5cf at 35hz. on 4-600 rms. thats actually spec for them lolz

ok scratch that. did some measuring and fiquring and I can get four cubes in my tiny car. So two 12" hfi's with a gdv2000.1 in 4cubes tuned to 32hz. How much port area do I need? I've got 6" and 4" pvc to use.

i think these particular pyramids are made in the USA by eminence. I've heard from quite a few people that they are really good bang for the buck subs. Throw some Lanzar Max subs into the mix as well. I had a set and they got **** loud off of 1000 watts and took the power like a champ.

Check out Memphis...I bought 4 PR124 12" subs awhile back at woofers etc. for $260 shipped in 4 days. They got real effing loud on 300 watts rms each.
