Trying to get loud SPL and an RL-p

Ok well since School is almost over I have all summer to mess around with various audio setups. The first thing I want to try and do is get one of My Rl-ps as loud as possible. So basically Im looking for some suggestions for an RL-p SPL box (I know RL-p + SPL=Oxymoron) I recently hit a 141.0 @ 41Hz with 2 Rl-ps sealed and I would like to do better than that with 1 RL-p in a ported box. So this is what I have to work with...~3 cubes, RL-p dual 4, and Orion 1200d so ~800 @ 2 ohms. So someone throw out some suggestions on box tuning and size. Thanks alot.

2.5cubes NET... THREE 4" aeroports (on exterior)... sub firing rearwards a few inches from driver side... ports firing sideways towards drive side...

Tuning. I'd start @ around 40... and cut off 1-2inches off each port each time till you stop getting louder.

FTW.

nG

2.5 cubes w/ 1 - 6'' aero, mounted outward, tuned @ 35.(then it will still be daily driveable //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

mount sub farthest away from port opening as possible.

So far nGs Idea is the most feesable...because I dont want to spend an Arm and a Leg on 6" aeros, and no room in a reg cab truck for a bandpass. Now I have also recieved some mixed reviews on how big I should make the box...Jntar suggested last night that I do something in the 1 cube range with 2 4 inch aeros tuned to 40, and some of yall are saying 2.5 cubes. Why the difference in the box size suggestions.

and Thank you all.

I suggested 1 cube net per sub (use both) 2 4" aeros per box...

subs forward ports up. (my reason is you want to stay in stock so you have to stay behind the b-piller...~1 cubs per side is all you can really get to fit. Maybe take you jack out and use the dips on each side for added volume)

For one sub my suggestion yesterday was similar to Ng's.

port on pass side aeros out of box facing driver side wall.

When I said tune to 40 that was a starting point. work up from there.

ok good I get it now...So basically 1-2 cubes net on the passenger side sub firing forward and 2 4 inch aero ports firing towards the drivers side. also I might build a box just like I have now and add external Aeroports with the ports firing up and keep both RL-ps.
