My apartment at college was $1000/month for a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place.
Living around here is pretty cheap even in some good areas. North of chicago is the big bucks.

$690 in california is definitely cheap though. When I was scoping out places in carlsbad (job opportunity) it was like $1200/month for a freaking studio apartment.

you gotta find the shitty apts, where 95% of the people are filed for Section 8 housing assistance.

ok so i am pretty sure my best friend is making out with my roommate right now. I am basically not friends with him anymore but i cant tell him due to somethings that might get me get me in trouble with the law if i tell him we arent friends anymore. I believe he will snitch on me. So anyways i am ignoring him for now but here is the story. Ok so i lived by myself last year in this apartment and i didnt have ppl here when i was not here. anyways when i had my roommate move in august i tried to keep them apart b/c i was trying to stop this problem from ever occuring. Anyways about 2 weeks ago he came over to throw out a bed for me cause i dont have a truck. anyways my gf lives with me and he stayed her for like 3 - 4 hrs. So i was nice and i calle dhim up after he left my house and tried to be as nice as i can since we been friends for like 4 years. Anyways i said i would really appreciate it if you did not come over when i was not home i said how would you like it if i was at your house when you were not there i told him i said i dont care if you hang out with my roommate and but do it out side of my house trying to talk to him friend as friend and not be a dick to my new roommate. Anyways he come over a few days later when im at work and he calls me before he comes over and say what u doing when he knows i am working cause i work everyday day at the same time. so i said i am working late today but he comes over anyways. HE TELLS HER everything i said to him and she is mad at me now but my roommate wont say anything to me i tried to confront her but nothing happened. So 1 i am mad at him for calling me and then coming over after i told him not to when i was not there and he does it anyways after agree?? So i am off today acting like i was asleep to ignor him and he is with her and i hear this kissing noise i dont know if it is for sure but what other noise is kissing when the room is silent and no talking, Its all i can think of. Anyways should i tell her bf or not? I dont wanna start drama up at my place so i say no but i dont want him my ex best friend her any more either. Anyways any ideas what i should do?
