Tryin to get big..just started lifting. Any advice?

-eat 4 or 5 small portion of food a day

-work out 2 hrs a day....5 days a week

You don't even know the 2 hours you can do 30 minute cardio and 30 minutes working other areas. Cause allot, of people probably don't have the motivation to go for two hours a day 5 days a week.

I would actually say three meals good size meals that don't include crap and drink water when you get hungry in between lol. But 4 or 5 small meals is good to.

 
Yota im in the same boat as you. I just started working out. I just cant get myself to eat all of that great. I have cut back on alot of soda. from 4/5 cans a day to just 1/2 a day. the rest water. I could be doing my work out all wrong but ill learn I guess.

Here is my routine... For now.

Tread mill for 1 mile before work out,

do regular bench press, curls, and shrugs.

do situps while i "rest"

incline bench press, hammer curls, the thing were you push weights above your head with both hands.

Do situps while "rest"

decline bench press, Rotateing hammer curls, and with both hands I hold a weight above my head and lift it.

Do situps while rest

Run anouther mile on tread mill.

I probally messed up on what you call the work outs but oh wells. When I get home I usally drink a protein shake and call it a day.

Like I said I could be doing this all wrong maybe ill get some insight from some one who nows whats up.

I havnt gotten to a routine for a leg work out... yet.

 
Thanks for the help thats still coming. Ive got a LOT of carbs out of my diet, drinking almost strictly water, like 8 bottles a day. I drank 3 today at the gym. I need to start incorporating more cardio, but I will start doing that. And Im taking Muscle Milk which is a protein suppliment, but gonna start taking Hydroxycut and cut that out I think. Ive already noticed gains in strength and hope it keeps coming, its already addicting!

All wrong there. I mean, its okay, but you should really stick to grouping your workout days to different muscle groups, not EVERYTHING in one day. I usually do a chest/tricep day, back/biceps, and legs. You also have to switch it up, so every other time I do chest or back, I'll throw in shoulders as well (things like shrugs, military press, lateral raises, and rotator cuff excercises). Sometimes I'll also do an all arms day, biceps and triceps. All depends on what you did the day or two before...
