I read the whole thread, 1605D, 870 watts at 1.1 ohm @ 11.5v... Hifonics amps power are rated at 14.4v, also it was in a vehicle with a low battery and a stock alternator.what were the specifics of this test? sounds a little low to me, seeing as the bx1500 loyd tested last year did much better.

i take it that the test was done in car on a burp. what were the voltage and current readings? was the 1.1ohm nominal or actual impedence?
