Which do you prefer?
I used to have an old mustang which had a very tight inside, small trunk space,etc.. And i had 2 12'' subs sealed in the trunk and 4 high end speakers in the back and doors (in hindsight the backones were overkill/unnecesary but sounded excellent nonetheless) all hooked up to 2 amps and a JVC head unit. I LOVED the sound it was tight bass , not too rumbly and obnoxious. Just tight and hit perfectly. Whole system sounded amazing.
Now i have an SUV and recently transferred over the exact same system. There's deffinetely a large difference w/ more air in the cabin. Some good, some bad.
Which do you prefer when setting up a system/listening to one, a large area or small?
bonus question: Was thinking about switching the subs into a ported box because now that the sealed is in such a large area it just doesn't hit as clean/crisp. Would you recoommend sealed or ported?
