Trunk help (40hz+ lacking)

Aight. New build I'm trying to get rolling here. Specs

Forward firing (into cabin right behind seats)

2: Soundrive SDA 3's

2: 2.3 cubic ft enclosures tuned to ~30hz

Smallish port area.

Is not sealed off yet

Playing on 300 @4 ohms (probably rising more than the national debt)

Issue:

Above 37hz or so, there is a major drop in output. I have not tried sealing anything off yet and I assume there is cancelation, just don't know how much that might affect output. I am triple checking phase of each woofer tomorrow.

Any advice from experience with trunk walls etc would be great, thanks again guys.

Alright, Sealed it up with plumbing insulation tube and.. not much better. Both subs are in phase with the other. I believe Im going to wait to see if full power helps the issue, If not I might increase the port area and tuning slightly.

Check all seals with a piece of paper to see if there is air movement anywhere.
