Truck worth buying?

Got it for 3k, only a half dollar rust on the drivers side floor board. Engine is pristine, no leaks.

Magnet check the rockers,cab corners and fenders.

These chevys rust up BAD.

Get under it and check for floorboard rust, or improper bodywork.

Almost certain some is there.

Wait till you find the hidden rust. Even in the best care, these trucks still rust. I havent seen a car or truck that rusts worse than a 70s-80s chevy truck. Its there somewhere, i know it is. You just havent found it yet. Take a long gooooooood look at that truck, youll find it. But if you dont wanna get mad when you do, dont bother with it. Body filler only covers up rust for a year or two.

Trucks been in AZ for almost its entire life, heard I shouldn't need to worry about as much rust as I would in other states.

Thats the truth. vehicles dont really rust down here. as long you arent close to the ocean. and most cities dont use salt on the roads when they happen to see snow. im driving a 95 civic without a single bit of rust on it. car still looks new

I cant believe these body style trucks are starting to become collectible. I remember when you could buy those things for like $200 at the junkyard. I just sold two K5 blazers that body style (and full convertibles) for less than a grand each, in good shape. Sold my 72 blazer body for not much more. So $3500 for that pick up, even being a short bed, seems very steep to me. But its worth whatever someone is willing to give for it.

Nice C10 is worth around 2-2.5K here, that truck might bring $2500, at tax time, lol.
