my friend bought a 77 Chevy 454 that was just alittle rough for $2500
This ones not really rough, bodys in great shape, interior could be better buy everything works and is there. Runs strong and just rebuilt withing the last year.

How am I lowballing retard? You have obviously never bought/sold a car privately, since you never sell for what you are asking and you never buy for the asking price....
i know the process of buying a car... there is, however, a direct correlation between the asking price and how much of a discount you ask for. when he is only asking for $3500 and you ask him to lower it by $500+, that is lowballing.

besides, everyone has a different idea of what lowballing is. maybe it is different in AZ, or maybe you just like your stuff dirt cheap. whatever it is, good luck with your purchase.

I like to lowball the hell out of dealers. They had my jeep listed online at 9k, at the dealership it was listed as 8k. I layed 6700 bucks on the table and said take it or leave it, they didnt take it. 2 days later they called back and said it was filled up and ready to go.

hahah with dealers, it is different. they mark stuff up like crazy. for that much of a mark-up, everyone should go and do some joy rides to **** them off

well he had a bit of rust, the floor boards in the cab and the gastank needed to be replaced. Rust most likely isnt goin to be a problem for you in AZ.

A a rule of thumb, most privite owners mark it up 500 more then what they really want for it. It is what it is...I've only bought 1(out of 5 pp) were i wasn't able to haggle the price down, but it was a smokin deal so i gave in.

just bought an '08 Elantra for the wife today. Found 2 dealers with similar cars and let them bid it out over the course of about 3 days. This one started at 12 + fees, got them down to 8,200+ fees, 8,950 out the door //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
