8 12"s, about 5kw, i think its 24 cubes, tuned in the mid 30's if i remember correctly.

its not loud.

I just took my 3-15s out because the box was too big. And I KNOW this box is EASILY double the size of mine.

only a 148.8 on the TL, legal sealed on the dash. and yes, it does a hair trick quite easily. it can actually do it with all the windows up, no need to crack one window and let the girls hair hang out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . dont have any vids of that though, but look at the section of the vid with the black sheet, or what i have dubbed "the antenna dance". the vid doesent show the roof flex that well, but there are two magnetic antennas on the roof, that will not stay on the roof with the system turned up.

compression is a funny thing. some cars create higher pressure levels than others do, some cars even create areas that pressurize higher than the rest of the vehicle. in my case, the actual intensity of the sound waves is much greater than the pressure they create.

the truck was not built for SPL, and as a result, it doesent do well in SPL situations. but i assure you, if you sat in a vehicle doing 150+, then sat in mine, without seeing the scores, you would bet money that mine is louder.

i guess a better way of putting it is that the higher SPL score vehicles arent louder, per say, but they are creating a higher pressure level.

strict SPL vehicles nowadays are all about manipulating the meter its about focusing the most amount of energy possibly into that little box we know as a term lab. most vehciles like that are like 15 db's quieter on teh opposite side.

Dosen't it also depend on the freq? Would'nt the pressure be different at 150db at 65hz, then 150db at 30hz? Just an uneducated guess.
