I just installed my deck in and it sounds good. It plays the radio and also cd but while playing cd it has no sound. I tried a couple of different disc. A CD-r with mp3 and a another with just regular 80min song cd. Both still result in the same way. I think it's the rca but does anyone know? the speakers work with radio but not with cd play.

i have the 5410 and ive never had that problem, but the cd player i had before that was a clarion and it stopped reading the cd's all of a sudden and it wouldnt spin or anything

are the speakers amped? if so make sure you didnt use the antenna turn on lead for the amp remote turn on. when the radio is off the antenna lead is dead.

yeah switch the antenna lead to the remote turn on lead

The speakers are being ran through the headunit.
