Hello,
I Installed my friends new headunit tonight in his 1997 Honda Prelude.
Anyway I got the wiring harness any everything but like the funny thing is that when the car is in setup A the stero works and the AC doesnt and the 2 cabin lights in the car ( the light switches) when pushed turn on and turn off the headunit. Also when you open doors the headunit ( stero) turns it self off till the door the closed.
In setup B the Stero doesnt work but the AC and stuff does work but the cabin light still dont work.
Setup A: fuse is gone from inside of Fuse panel. For AC and other stuff. Under Steering wheel by pedals. But fuse if in the Fuse panel Under the hood and is marked with Clock/ Radio.
Setup B: Fuse is not installed in the ( Under Hood fuse panel) but is installed in the Drivers side Fuse panel installed in the AC Section.
We tested both fuses to make sure they weren't dead or anything and there both working prefect just not together.
There 7.5 A Fuses.
Anyway ideas.
BTW it's a Jensen Headunit , just the standard flip-over headunit.
Both the AC and the stero work when the stock headunit is installed in the car so Im thinking maybe not enough power ?//
