i had a single SSi 10 ported off 800w and it was very loud but didn't have much output above 55-60hz. i need to decide whether to go with dual 4(695w) or dual 2(939w) on a single 12.
i also have a ten inch ssi on 750 watts ported at 35hz and it does fall off up top. i set my crossover at 63hz instead of 80hz for that reason. it does get really loud on the low notes though, but i'm craving more power. i know it can take more.

but like everyone else is saying you cant go wrong with treo.

Any truth to the above statement comparing it to the idmax?

I dont think enough people have heard the new models to make that comparison yet. Your best bet is just calling Treo and asking them. treo subs can handle a lot more power than they are rated for and get very loud.

i talked to a guy @ treo yesterday, he said it fits between the tsx and ssi lines so it should still get loud(they both do). i also asked him about the power rating and he said their rating should keep the sub happy during its 3 year warranty, any more power might shorten the life. the single 12 idmax i used to have was plenty loud, looking for something comparable that i can bang on without worrying about issues.

does anyone know where I can find ther new line of subs??? I cheacked there site but it looks like everything is from 2004, thank you
yea they need to update their site very badly.

everybody says that the treo's can take way more power than rated at. does anyone know how much the 10 inch SSi should take daily? i have it on 750 right now which is what they recommend but i know it can take more but i don't wanna kill it. i want to get a bigger amp but just don't know how much i should give it.
