Treo Sub's

You think the Treo subs will be cheaper???? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
yes i know how much they are i'm getting them for 1200.00 for the 2 15's

I've heard the SSX's and they pound. Many say that the treo's lack good SQ which is correct. They were made to just be loud. I personally like them. This summer I am taking out my 3 CompVRs sealed and putting in 2 Treo SSi 12" ported. Part of my decision was to be different. Ever since I found out that Kicker was going into cc i wanted something wasn't as "popular". NO OFFENSE TO RE AUDIO, ADIRE, JL, ASCENDANT OR OTHERS BUT THEY ARE ALL OVER THIS FORUMN AND OTHERS ( AND I'M SURE FOR VERY GOOD REASON). That is why I still would prefer the treos.

that SQ statement is incorrect. i have heard many great sounding installs with their products. you can have the greatest products in the world but if the install is subpar then you just wasted money.

i've owned treo ss's (ssi now)...sq is good. spl is good. i'd expect the ssx's to get louder and sound about as good.

the treo's weren't a waste of money (i paid $700 for a pair of 15's). they got loud, they played low and they kept up with just about everything. were they the best subs i've owned? no, but they were good ones.

one problem with treo, other then price. warranty/customer service. at least for the local shop that used to carry treo. it seemed that they couldn't ever get anything fixed and if they did warranty it, it took forever. so he dropped them.

o get the ssx's, u'll like them, probably alot. and the thing to remember, it doesn't matter what we think, but what u think. if u've already heard them, and like them, then noone here should be able to tell u otherwise.

Treo's are good, they are made at a Shop here in Omaha. They have been around for a while and repair turnover is getting better. They started out a one man production line many years ago and Jon has turned them into a contender. They are a little pricey for some of the upper echelon stuff, I would not run them just cuz everyone around here has a set, just like RE on here. For the money there are better out there, but its all opinion

I owned a csx 18 and that sub slamed hard and sounded good doing it. I was very suprised when I installed that bad boy and it actually sounded good after hearing people say it'll sound like crap blah blah. Anyway go for the ssx's that would be crazy loud esp daily wow. Take pics too. And no offense to anyone but how many people have heard a ssx or csx??

the ssx is the more street-able version of the csx...
over-priced, under performing, manu. overated, etc....just call them and ask the one way x-max....they wont even know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

id buy another ia sub before a treo
****, that's sad to know.

Just bought me a brand new Treo SS10.22 today for $80 from a local authorized dealer (comes with full warranty too) and honestly, they sound badass. I have it in the tiniest sealed box and the output is amazing.

Treo is good stuff, you just have to find them for super cheap.

[edit] I'll post pics later if anyone wants so see.
