Gonna put a 12" ssi dual 2ohm into a 1cuft ported box after displacements.

 

It shows a -3db downpoint of 30hz with a slight gain at 40hz.

 

The port is 4" round and 25" long. I did all my homework on this and it looks like it will be fine on paper. But experience owns if you have used this sub before.

I have a pair of SS 12's running off a memphis belle. I like them a lot and never had a problem with them. They are in a ported box tuned at 38htz..

I have a TREO SSi10.44 wired to 2 ohms to my modified Phoenix Gold ZPA0.3, getting about 800 wrms in a .95 CF ported box tuned to 33Hz, I'm very plaesed w/the output of it. I'm a SQL type of person. The size of your box worries me. Thier optimum sealed is @1.3 cf. I have no clue what ported would be. Goto thier home page and email thier online support.

I got the specs for my box directly from treo when I called them and spoke to them over the phone...

i have the ssi 10"s in my truck. soon i will have a single ssx 12" in my boat. in my truck i have 500 watts on each of the tens, 1000 watts total for the bass setup. i think the ssi is probably one of the better subs that i have used. lots of bottom end to them. what kind of power do you have to put behind it?
