Treo SSX1500.1

I had a questions regarding the Treo ssx1500.1. At the momment I'm running a Eclipse CD8443 which has 8v output. Does this mean that the SSX1500.1 would not be compatile since its max input is 6v? Is there a way I can make the amp compatible with the HU?

Teh HU will work with the amp you'll jsut have to keeps ur gains low due to the fact that pre amp input voltage determins where ur gains will be set for a part anyway . Set ur gains wit ha DMM as u normally would I used a Orion 2500D listed a max input of 5 v where as my eclipse 8454 had 8v and never had an issue.

There are two terminals for power, ground, and remote. Are they required?

Yes all the other inputs are required. just get ur self a 1/0 to daul 4 guage distro block and use a bridge clip for the extra remote.

I like those amps... The last time I talked to them, they had been replaced by a ssx2000.1 I believe... So you can't buy direct from them anymore...

Atleast, that is what I was told by the guy I talked to at Treo.
