I searched but couldnt find an explanation. I've seen these for sale on ebay once in a while. My question is what are they or how do they work? They look like elongated ported boxes, is that all there is to it?

Ok for a simple explanation go to http://www.t-linespeakers.org and some of it's links. For a more in depth knowledge look into buying The Loudspeaker Design Cookboox, Expanded Sixth Edition, by Vance Dickason. These boxes are what actually got me interested in car audio so i have a stockpile of information, researches, and reports on this subject if you want some.

i still have questions on tl like the constant space behind driver befor the port start i know how far back just not the amout of cubic footage behind there
