trade in car

yeah right now i have my 97 grand am gt...98,000 miles

my dad has a 97 Ford Expedition with about 101,000 miles, but its like in perfect condition..he says, if i would trade in my car, i could buy his truck from him for about,3 grand..

just wondering what you guys would do...wonder how good my system would sound in there?

yeah if its in good condition and your dad has owned it most of its life so he knows everything that ever went wrong with it...id definantly do it. especially since your only gonna get about 1500 for you car on a trade in.

Why not just actually sell your car? You could probably get 4-5 thousand for it. I dont like fords anyways.

You could always drop your stereo into your Dad's truck just for a day to see how it sounds. It's up to you...whether or not you want a new car or to get your Dad's SUV.

Listen to this man. First off your car has less miles and I'm sure it gets a hell of a lot better gas mileage than your dads expedition. Being a Ford I wouldnt trust that thing as far as I could throw it. I would definately try and sell your car if you really want to go through with this deal. My own dad screwed my brother out of his 91 Ford Explorer and it turns out right after he got it the entire clutch system went out I'd just sell your car if you really want to go through with this and get something better, in my opinion getting an expedition is far from an upgrade. Think about the extra gas and possible insurance. Don't take me too seriously.

First of all, you gotta learn on how to install your own stuff or bring it to me, second, FUC.K FORD, get a blazer if at all possible.

grab a consumer repoty and you will find that the for the past 5-8 years American build quality and perfromance as well as durability have become increasingly worse compared to Japanese companies. Cars need to be serviced much more often and are still rising in cost.

Full Coverage is CHEAPER on the Expedition than on my Grand Am GT.
