eD A low end..

Well this is something that has been bothering me since i got these speakers in. I have them tuned to about 30-31 hz 4 cu ft. Well for some reason there having trouble with the low 15" sound. I have 30hz FMODS. I kinda realized it when i first got them, but now i really notice it compared to my friends 15" L7, his hits real low, while mine sounds almost like a 12". Now my questions are..

The crossover on the amp wouldnt really affect the low end, so have it set at around 100 hz?

Could I be missing out because I have FMODS?

Is there a HU function that could be doing this?

Any of you 15" A people having this trouble?

and do u think its just normal, just its not designed to go low?

My A's are tuned to 29, and the SSF is set at around 20, and the low end is just amazing on them...take off the FMODS and you should notice a difference...

i have mine tuned at 30hz...and have the ssf all the way down(16hz)....no problem with unloading....and the lows are amazing....try it without the fmods...play a variety of music and make sure they dont unload

You know your a dumb *** right? Are you trying to say that a ed K is better than the A series in low end bass. Wtf does him having the wrong spider design have to do with not having low end bass

yeah...it's the fmods. no need for them...i had 20hz fmods on my k's. But after talking with ben, decided i didn't need then unless dropping to like 10hz on bass mekanik at full tilt or somthing. Other than that...u don't need them, also people have had problems with harrison's fmods...hand made i think, and not exactly matched somtimes. good luck, peace
