shit is old school bro. much like the other luxury cars with push start, infrared keys, etc, shit was probably all electric and wouldnt do shit if you tried to throw it into anything the ***** control module thought was ****ed up.

hell, even my neon just shut down when i accidentaly put it in reverse while Becky driving.

put it in neutral and hit the brakes. duh

i work for toyota(lexus actually). the stock floor mats have hooks that hold the mats in place. the car in question had an extra mat on top of the factory mat that did not have hooks and somehow that mat got cought up with the gas pedal.

from what i heard, the guy driving the car was a state trooper so he should have known to put it in neutral and hit the brakes.
