toyota corolla mounting kit?

I'm going to be upgrading a 2005 Toyota Corolla stock radio and I'm confused about the radio dash install kits. I know how to uninstall the factory radio but I'm going to need a single DIN dash kit.

Some kits advertise with/without the wiring harness. Do I need the wiring harness?

For example this is a kit with the wiring harness:

where as this is one without it:

P.S. my friend might be selling me his single DIN head unit. If not, I will buy a new one. If it matters.
