I just installed my pioneer deh-p980bt head unit, 2 boston g3 12" subs, rocksford fosgate p1000 amp and two boston 6x9 rear speakers. i used 4 gauge wiring for the amp. Now after the install my accelartion is messed up i dont whats wrong with it. am i using too much power do i need a capictor?? can anyone help me please.

The most obvious thing that comes to my mind is maybe your power wire is somehow tangled up in your throttle linkage. Sounds funny but I have seen it happen. Other than that I would suggest exploring everywhere you encountered the factory wiring while installing your equipment. Be on the lookout for disconnected plugs and possibly damaged wires from screws etc.....
