Tough Decision. Need some Input

Ok I have 2 component sets I can put in my door: The Alpine Type R's and the CDT CL-61'S. It's driving me nuts cause i don't know which I want to put in. I've been told to listen to both but I can't put the Type R's in without making major mods to my doors so if i make the mods they are goin in no matter what. Anyone with any experience with the Type R comps and CDT comps please give me your take on them. What would you do if you were me?

from what ive heard, the CL-61s will be better.

ive heard the type-rs are the tweeters are pretty harsh, and its not worth the hassle to mod your door for them if you have the CDTs. go ahead and put them in there are you will be very happy.

Maybe you could make MDF boxes for them and try them on your home stereo... whichever ones you don't use could end up attached to your TV lol. That way you don't have to hack your car to hear them.

just ordered some of those CL-61's for my friend last night...as soon as i install them for him ill let you know how they sound. and having heard the type-rs i will be able to compare them.
