its all imaginary
So my dad doesn't have the right size wrenches I need to change my fuel filter and since its in such a tight place, I can't use an adjustable wrench, so I am looking to buy a set of tools.

Since I drive an older car and go to school an hour and a half away from home, having a set of tools in my dorm room is a bit of a necessity in case something happens to my car so I don't have to pay a mechanic to do work I can do myself. Anyway, I want to know if you guys think this set is a good deal

Craftsman 245 pc. Mechanic's Tool Set

The online price is listed as $189.99 but the Sears Hardware store by my house had a tag on it of $159.99. They are Craftsman tools, so they have a lifetime warranty so if anything breaks, I can just run to Sears and have it replaced

thanks for the opinions

It's a good buy. A good tool kit is ALWAYS worth it.
thanks, thats what I figured, but didn't know if anyone knew of a better deal or had an opinion. I haven't bought many tools because I usually just use my dad's or buy a single tool if he doesn't have it, so I'm not really experienced as far as what to look for

everything i have is craftsman.. i think that set will be enough to fix any problems u run into
thanks. yeah I have always grown up using craftsman tools, my dad has had his for 25 years or better, since his dad worked at sears. the only problem he has ever had has been a broken ratchet (that had been used for 25 years) and sears replaced it no problem. craftsman is the way to go, I think.

I will buy this set for sure on friday

you should get the 260 pc set when it goes on sale its like $170
it was on sale this past week, but I didn't have the money then. I really need to get this fuel filter changed, its pretty clogged. besides, the extra 15 tools are allen wrenches and stupid stuff like that, not worth the extra $20 and the wait, IMO

oh this is for me, lol!! my mom and I got a big rolling toolbox at walmart for him for father's day, to help him organize his tools....i'm sure he actually has the tools I need, but I can't find them until we clean the garage and organize them lol. I need the tools anyway though, for while i'm at school
