Too much?

I have 2 Audiobahn AW1200X's that are each hooked up to a lanzar VIBE 225. (1 amp to each sub hooked up mono) The subs are getting about 250 watts rms each at 4 ohms. If I hooked them up at 2 ohms they would be getting about 400 watts rms. Do you think that it would be too much power for the subs if I hooked them up at 2 ohms or should they be ok. Let me know what you think.
