When is too much really to much, to put in a car. My buddy and I were thinking about building a wall in my 1995 eclipse. We want to put (4) fifthteens facing forward and (4) twelves faceing the rear. Haven't decided on what kind of subs we want to run. Is that to much to put in the car, we are going high end spl.....

well yes cause 1. no way you will have enuff air space 2. you dont use 2 different sizes of subs n00b. 3. you wont have enuff room inside a "car" for all the amps wire and box even if you were to do that. even though its retarded

He could do a wall with 8 12's if he wanted too. My buddy has a 1999 eclispe with a wall of all Rockford p3's I think, dont quote me on that, as I dont know much about rockford. All I know is there is 8 of them and he has 1 dry cell in the back and whatever the biggest RF amp they make pushing all 8 of them. Then has 2 smaller highs amp back there, with a PG crossover and something else. I have only seen it a few times and most times just sit in it and get a friggin headache. This thing has got to be doing over 160 with ease. My cutty did 156 and seems louder than that. So it is possiable. I wouldnt suggest firing 4 of them foward and then 4 back, that would just be retarded not to mention pretty fawking ghetto! If your gonna do a wall, do it right and for gods sake get the same size woofers.
